Expecting to try and get three races in today, to make a full series.
Forecast is NW 10-20k, gusts to 25k.
Hopefully with the river to ourselves we will be back up river a bit - the water is flatter in that area - based on earlier race days.

Photos are great, interesting the one of you where you can just see the top of your head, you were going so fast you were blocked out by the spray/wave. Going by forecast if it is accurate looked like a much better day for sailing, hope all went well, enjoy the presentation evening tonight...you have done Queensland proud, look forward to seeing the end result. Off to Sydney on the 7.15am flight in the morning, Nikki is taking laptop and I am taking my wireless key, so should be able to get a turn on computer here and there.
ReplyDeleteThe last 48 hours have been the worst of my sailing endeavours - from memory. I have let Qld down and failed in my endeavour to contribute to the strategy for building the class in Qld.
ReplyDeleteOne fact that I have had solidly reinforced is that I sail alone. Whilst those who I sail against have a far superior depth of talent and technical support.
